No punitive streaks
Missed a session? That's information, not failure. PIXIE picks up where you are, not where it thinks you should be.
A Loptr Lab accessibility project · for streamers, creators, and neurodivergent makers
Try a stream, music practice, or project return. Edit a filename, skip what you do not need, and review a plan. The proposed steward would help preserve your work; this example lets you test its choices.
Loptr Lab is a pre-seed, people-over-profit, accessibility-first venture working toward a self-sustaining model within a capitalist economy. Money sustains the work; meaningful change for people is its purpose. We accept funding only on terms that keep people and accessibility first. Our long-term vision includes universal basic income. We aim to bring change to life and leave a transparent record of what we tried, what worked, and what failed so others can carry it forward. This mission governs our projects, funding decisions, and partnerships; it is not a temporary marketing position.
Current open review and contribution opportunities are voluntary and unpaid. Before work begins, agree in writing on scope, time, what will be public, credit preferences, and an exit path. You can stop at any point. Participation does not promise employment, ownership, revenue share, academic credit, or future pay. Any paid commission or other formal arrangement requires a separate signed agreement before work begins. External assistance or benefits belong to the participant and are not compensation from Loptr Lab.

PIXIE is a privacy-protected case study in accessibility, authorship, agent-assisted work, and the places where qualified humans remain essential.
Interactive example · no file processing
Use the invented examples. Choices stay in this tab and disappear on reload. No AI, transcription or translation service runs here.
Original example:
No recording or folder has been detected. You decide whether to start.
The original example stays unchanged. Edit the description or suggested filename.
A future transcript would need an identified tool and permission before processing. Here you can include an invented sample or skip it.
Synthetic sample: 00:00 — “I changed one part of the project. Next time I will compare the result.”
No audio was processed.
In a real workflow, sending text to a provider such as DeepL needs a separate disclosure and approval. Selecting a language here contacts no provider and generates no translation.
Write an example re-entry note, or skip it. No reminder will be scheduled.
Simulation receipt: you confirmed this plan. No file was renamed, no text was sent, and no task was scheduled. Editing clears this confirmation.
Nothing is running in the background. Reloading clears the example. Resume only if you want to.
No actions taken.
Device stewardship · keep useful hardware in service
Age alone does not decide whether hardware is useful. Start with your task, accessibility needs, software support and repair options.
Before changing an OS: verify the exact model, a restorable backup, essential apps and peripherals, and a recovery route. This page does not install or modify operating systems.
Hardware guide and sourcesOptional service · separate choice
Useful for a live lesson, co-design session or game playtest. The steward remains usable without a stream. No channel or broadcast connection is assumed.
Loading contacts stream.place and its delivery services, which receive normal connection information. Their policies apply. This player does not authorize recording, chat, publication or camera/microphone access.
No external player loaded.
Open Streamplace directly · Official embed documentation. Use the written demo if video or the service is unavailable.
Voluntary feedback · review before sharing
Create a draft here. Nothing is submitted. Interest is a preference, not enrollment or a promise to contribute. Avoid personal records, credentials or someone else's private information.
Feedback stays in this tab until you choose otherwise.
GitHub issues are public. Opening GitHub does not send this draft; paste only what you choose to publish. You can also keep the downloaded draft for a private review.
The PIXIE promise
Missed a session? That's information, not failure. PIXIE picks up where you are, not where it thinks you should be.
PIXIE uses preferences you state. It does not diagnose, infer emotion, monitor you secretly, or decide you're struggling without asking.
Every suggestion is explainable. Every action is reversible. You can undo, correct, and delete. The exit is always in the same place.
Consent is an interface
PIXIE carries Made Sick's safety grammar into device stewardship. Social contact stays closed by default; sharing and participation are separate choices.
For streamers: this is the difference between a tool that helps you and a tool that performs helpfulness at you while quietly doing things you didn't ask for.
See a cue or pattern without being enrolled.
Choose the scope, duration, and data involved.
Share only through a separate, explicit action.
Pause, export, correct, or delete without penalty.
Begin where the friction is visible
Artists should be able to stay with the work. PIXIE proposes an Artist File Protocol for names, relationships, recovery, provenance, and resuming after interruption.
Explore the Artist File ProtocolPhase 2 · private by design · not yet built
PIXIE can help a person understand what sources are connected, whether information may be stale, and what they want to do next — without copying medical records into a public site or treating a coded status as a diagnosis.
Show who supplied a record and when it last synchronized. Expired access is labeled before any summary is trusted.
Example · refresh neededAccess to records, wellness signals, research participation, and community features remain separate choices.
No access assumedPIXIE displays records and uncertainty. It does not infer emotion, capacity, compliance, crisis, or treatment needs.
Observation ≠ diagnosisNothing goes to a clinician, caregiver, researcher, collaborator, community, or platform without a distinct, reviewable action.
Closed by defaultDemonstration boundary: this public interface uses synthetic states only. It contains no personal medical record data and performs no clinical interpretation.
