How to Create the Map

Follow this structured roadmap to translate the track's raw, theatrical storytelling into blocks and sabers.

1

Download mapping tools

To chart the song, download either ChroMapper or MediocreMapAssistant2. You will also need a high-quality audio file of the song formatted to .egg or .ogg format.

2

Align the BPM & Note Jump Speed (NJS)

Set the project tempo to 90 BPM. To prevent fast 16th-note syllable-matching streams from grouping up too closely and confusing players, set your NJS (Note Jump Speed) to a minimum of 16 to 18.

3

Map the Eerie Acoustic Monologue (0:00 - 0:34)

Focus on slow, fluid hand movements. Avoid sharp angles or rapid speed. The player should feel like they are painting in the air with broad strokes to match the tense, quiet dialogue.

4

Chart the Syllable-Matching First Drop (0:52 - 1:30)

When the aggressive beat drops ("I'm a blood-sucking titan..."), increase the note density significantly. Map fast, alternating 16th-note streams to Ren's rapid-fire vocal deliveries to maximize physical player engagement.
